22 January 2015|Tottenham Hotspur
Ryan Mason signed new contract committing himself to the club until 2020 earlier today - here, Spurs TV take a look at the midfielder's breakthrough this season.
Enfield-born and a Spurs fan, Ryan joined our Academy in July 2007, signed professional forms a year later and then, aged 17, made his first team debut in the Europa League in November, 2008.
After gaining experience in a number of loan moves, Ryan made his big breakthrough this season.
He scored a fine goal against Forest in the Capital One Cup in September, made his Premier League in the North London derby at Arsenal three days later and has been a fixture in the side since.
"It's an honour to wear the shirt," Ryan told Spurs TV at the Emirates - and after putting pen to paper on his new deal, there will be plenty of occasions ahead to do just that.
