Spurs support Help a London Child

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Help a London Child was launched in 1975 to provide financial support to grass-roots projects working with London’s less advantaged children.

The appeal has come along way from the £8,000 raised in its first year… In 2003. £731,272 was distributed to a record 524 organisation and groups helping to fund play and special needs equipment; sports and leisure activities; youth clubs; refuge and homeless projects; holiday play schemes and residential breaks in the UK; cultural activities; supplementary schools; and literacy programmes; and much more.

From this impressive background, the future looks very exciting, with the prospect of being able to help even more of London’s less advantaged children and families in the coming year.

This year we will be supporting Help a London Child by donating a fantastic auction prize. We will be offering two Spurs packages to lucky bidders. The packages are scheduled for between 8am to 9am on 1548am Capital Gold breakfast show Tuesday March 23 and the second package is up for auction on 95.8 Capital FM at 5.00pm on Saturday March 27

The Spurs package will be aimed at making a young Spurs fan dream come true. You will be bidding for a Spurs signed ball, a place for a child age 6 to 14 on a White Hart Lane Easter Soccer School, the chance to watch a training session at the Training Ground and to be presented with the signed ball by a first team player. The soccer school is a days training with our Tottenham Hotspur Community coaches and includes a tour of the Ground and a goodie bag.

So don’t forget to tune in for a chance to bid for this fantastic prize while supporting Help a London Child.

Pre-bids are welcome and have already started, please contact Lucy Barnard on 0208 365 5113 or email for more information.
