The Club will pay its respects to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in armed conflict at tomorrow’s match with Leicester City at the Lane.
As we enter this period of Remembrance 100 Years on from the Battle of the Somme - to this day still the bloodiest battle in British military history - we shall observe a Minute’s Silence prior to kick off, during which the Last Post will be played by a Trumpeter of the Central Band of the Royal Air Force.
We should like to remind fans to please be respectful of this if entering the stadium close to kick off. Please also note that the period of silence will start and end on the referee’s whistle - not the end of the Last Post.
Serving members of our Armed Forces Spurs Official Supporters’ Club, representing the Royal Navy, Army - including the Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment - and Royal Air Force will be present at the match and form a ‘Guard of Honour’ before the teams enter the field of play.
