Spurs' pledge to fans

English Barclays Premiership

We have published a Club Charter for the coming season. It details a wide
range of pledges covering tickets prices, new kit, consultation, community
activity, merchandising and customer service.

Spurs' charter, which is published in full in the Corporate area of the
official web-site, promises no ticket price increases from last season, at
least 25 per cent of tickets made available to non-season ticket holders,
and concessions for disabled people and members who are junior fans or
senior citizens. It also guarantees free admission to replays of abandoned

The charter is part of a Premiership-wide initiative. The move was announced
earlier in the week by Richard Scudamore, chief executive of the Premier
League, who said the move was agreed by the clubs at a meeting earlier in
the summer.

And in a BBC radio interview, he praised Spurs in particular for our
relationship with the community. The charter details "considerable and
varied community action" through the Football in the Community Scheme.

On merchandising, we promise that home kits will have a design span of two
years and away strips will have a life span of one season. Replica kit will
soon carry advice on the date the kit was launched. It means that the home
strip will change in May 2001 and the away strip during the summer of 2001.
