spurs(((on!))) - The fans view

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

As spurs(((on!))) - our unique new mobile telephone service - moves from strength to strength, here is what three fans have to say about it...

"I have to say I think spurs (((on!))) is a very good service, it gives us something different that we wouldn't normally get from the Club.

It's great to receive voice mails from the players, the manager and the coaching staff and there is a lot of information sent to your phone immediately that you would usually have to wait a while to find out.

Pre and post match voice messages from Chris Hughton or John Gorman, telling us what they expect from the game and then their thoughts on how it went, gives the fans feedback that isn't available anywhere else.

And getting the players coming on telling us how things are going is excellent, just so different to any other service.

Personally, my favourite so far this season was the Rohan Ricketts voice message just before the Birmingham match, you could just tell how excited he was about making his Premiership debut, he was really up for it.

But I also enjoyed the international round-ups, finding out that Goran Bunjevcevic was on the bench for Serbia and that Milenko Acimovic played for Slovenia - it's information like this that you just don't usually get so quickly.

I'd certainly recommend it to anyone thinking about joining up.

This service is a great way of keeping up-to-date with what is going on at the Club. It's a very good idea and I like the way we get messages from the players on your voicemail, it's a such a new and different product I'm sure it will be very popular.

It's handy for when you either can't get to a game - particularly away matches - or for getting the latest information from the Club during the week. There were a couple of voice messages from Gus Poyet during the last week, telling us how he is doing with his injury and how he got on playing for the Reserves, which was great. That's exactly what you want.

In the future the service will be able to show video footage of matches as well and that's something I'm really looking forward to getting. But certainly at the moment, it's still a good product and I'm enjoying it.

Personally, spurs(((on!))) is the ideal way to stay in touch with what's going on at the Club. Up until a couple of years ago, I used to have a season ticket holder but I now live and work in Scotland, so the service is a great way for me to keep up-to-date.

There's isn't a great deal of coverage of Tottenham in Scotland, so to have all the latest information coming direct to my mobile phone is perfect. I particular like it on matchdays, when I get both team line-ups before anyone else as well score flashes and then voice messages from the coaches or a player, giving their thoughts on the game.

It was great during the transfer window as well, especially having Paul Konchesky telling me he was joining on loan and finding out first that Postiga, Zamora, Kanoute and Dalmat were all joining too.

I'm very pleased with the service and as I said, it's the ideal way to keep in touch when I can't get to the games as much as I used to.
