Spurs get the Blues!

English Barclays Premiership

We have been drawn against Birmingham City at home in the third round of the Worthington Cup.

We booked our place in the last 32 by beating Brentford 2-0 on Tuesday night while the Blues beat Wycombe 5-3 on aggregate to reach this stage.

Trevor Francis’ men have made a bright start to their First Division campaign with just one defeat in eight games so far. They are currently fourth in the table.

The competition now takes the format of a set draw - exactly the same as Wimbledon tennis - so we know if we are successful at the Lane we will play Premiership rivals Newcastle United or Bradford City in the fourth round.
