Spurs fans provide the WOW factor!

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

SOS Children's Villages World Orphan Week (WOW) successfully launched at White Hart Lane on Sunday with fans joining the celebrations and embracing the 'Wear Something WOW' theme.

As part of the Club's involvement, fans attending the game were encouraged to celebrate with us by wearing something WOW and help raise awareness of the campaign.

The finalists were invited pitchside to meet Spurs legend Gary Mabbutt, with Stephanie Boast being awarded the first prize as the best dressed fan on the day.

Stephanie took home a signed shirt and will be joining the rest of the finalists for a training ground visit to Spurs Lodge.

Spurs fans were joined by the national media in backing the WOW initiative, with the national press taking full advantage of the Club's offer to sponsor each one of them to wear a purple WOW wig at the game... which proved to be a colourful spectacle!

WOW factor

Funds generated from collections and sponsorship on the day will go directly towards helping and providing support for SOS Children around the world.

Keep an eye on the website and Club publications for the latest on the Tottenham Hotspur House in Rustenburg South Africa.
