Spurs fan Warburton named British Lions captain

Spurs fan Sam Warburton will lead the British Lions in this summer's tour of Australia.

The flanker and skipper of Wales' Six Nations triumph earlier this year was handed the captaincy by Lions' head coach Warren Gatland at the squad's announcement on Tuesday.

"It's an unbelievable honour that very few people get to achieve," he said.

Sam went to the same school - Whitchurch High School, Cardiff - as a certain Gareth Bale and told of of his love for Spurs back in February. Read that interview here...
