Spurs around the world

Find out how our international players got on for their countries over the weekend...

A host of Spurs players were in international action for their countries over the weekend.

Didier Zokora and Young-Pyo Lee have already begun their 2010 World Cup qualifying campaigns.

Didier played 90 minutes for the Ivory Coast as they defeated Mozambique, but Young-Pyo's South Korea were not so fortunate as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Jordan in Seoul.

Gilberto was up against Paul Stalteri as Brazil defeated Canada 3-2 in a friendly played in Seattle, while Chris Gunter played another full game for Wales as they were defeated 2-0 by Holland in Rotterdam.

Elsewhere, Younes Kaboul played the last of France Under-21's series of friendlies in Sweden with a 1-1 draw against the hosts.

And finally, congratulations to David Button and the England Under-19 side as they secured qualification for this summer's European Championships in the Czech Republic after a 0-0 draw with Belarus.
