Reaction direct from the dressing room after our 5-2 win against Southampton in the Premier League at Wembley on Boxing Day.
Mauricio Pochettino
"The first half was fantastic. We played so well. In the second half after it went to 4-0 we started to drop a little in our focus and allowed them to score and then it was so open, a lot of transitions, it should have finished 7-4! It was a fantastic game.
"I'm happy with the three points and with Harry Kane's achievement. It's a massive achievement, to break the Premier League record of Alan Shearer (Harry's 39 goals in a calendar year to Shearer's 36) and to score more goals for the team and country (56 goals) than Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo is amazing."
Harry Kane
"We were on it right from the start. It was similar to Burnley and we just continued that - forward runs, one-twos around the box and getting the goal early helped and from there we dominated. It was important to finish the year strongly and we've done that.
"A lot of the build-up was about Alan Shearer's record but I was calm and once I got the first I knew I could just enjoy the game. The second goal came along and it was nice to finish it off with another hat-trick."
Dele
"It was a strong performance all over the pitch - we're disappointed to concede the goals but it was a fantastic display and every player did well. It's enjoyable when you play like that, getting on the ball, creating space for each other and everyone playing the passes. It was a really enjoyable game for us, a great performance.
"We have to keep playing as we are, keep putting in performances, keep working hard for each other and that's all we can do.
"I feel good. It's always difficult when you set your standard so high to maintain it but I'm confident in myself as a player."
