Spurs 3-0 Norwich - Mauricio's verdict
26 December 2015|Tottenham Hotspur
Mauricio Pochettino felt we fully deserved victory against Norwich once we clicked into full gear at the Lane on Boxing Day.
Mauricio admitted the Canaries started better and Hugo Lloris was forced into one fine save from Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe at 0-0 but once Harry Kane opened the scoring from the penalty spot on 26 minutes there only looked one winner.
Harry doubled-up just before the break and then saw fellow Academy graduate Tom Carroll drill home his first Premier League goal from 20 yards to wrap up the points at 3-0.
“It was a fantastic performance, I’m very pleased,” said Mauricio. “Only the first 15 minutes were difficult when Norwich were more aggressive than us but after that I think we fully deserved the victory and I’m very pleased for our players.

“We have showed mature performances against Southampton and now Norwich. That’s important for us, to believe in the way we play, to be strong and manage the game when we’re in a positive situation.
“All the players deserve credit. We showed real quality. We need to feel proud for all the players - all the squad - and this is most important.
“Now we work hard to be ready for the next game against Watford.”
