Spurs 3-0 Bournemouth - MOTM result

21 March 2016|Tottenham Hotspur

The Premier League’s top scorer ran away with our supporters’ votes for Man of the Match after Sunday’s 3-0 victory at Bournemouth.

Harry Kane’s two goals at White Hart Lane, the first of which arrived after just 44 seconds, made him the outright leading marksman in the division with 21, having started the weekend level on 19 with Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy.

His brace capped a fine all-round display against the Cherries – indeed, he also slid in to deny Joshua King as he was about to pull the trigger at the other end, shortly after Christian Eriksen had put us 3-0 up.

In total, Harry took a whopping 74.3 per cent of fans’ votes for Man of the Match, cast on Twitter, Facebook and our online Match Centre.

Here’s what he said to Spurs TV after stepping off the pitch on Sunday…

MAN OF THE MATCH – BOURNEMOUTH (HOME)

Harry Kane – 74.3 per cent
Christian Eriksen – 10.4 per cent
Mousa Dembele – 8.2 per cent
Kyle Walker – 7.1 per cent

As always, thanks to everyone who voted!
