Spurs 2-0 Hull - MOTM result

18 May 2015|Tottenham Hotspur

Opinion was divided among our supporters over who should be crowned Man of the Match in Saturday’s 2-0 victory against Hull City at White Hart Lane.

Erik Lamela, who came up with a fine assist for Nacer Chadli’s opening goal, was neck-and-neck with second goalscorer Danny Rose throughout the voting period – as illustrated by the fact that Erik accumulated more votes on Twitter while Danny marginally triumphed on Facebook and our online Match Centre.

Following an overall count-up, however, it was Danny who claimed the honour with 50.3 per cent of fans’ votes with Erik polling 37 per cent.

Ryan Mason, who set up Danny for his fine volley in the second half, took 12.7 per cent.

Here’s what Danny had to say to Spurs TV after an eventful afternoon at the Lane...

MAN OF THE MATCH – HULL CITY

Danny Rose – 50.3%

Erik Lamela – 37%

Ryan Mason – 12.7%

As always, thanks to everyone who voted.
