Action from Wednesday night's defeat to Manchester City at White Hart Lane.

Sergio Aguero's opener for City was added to five minutes into the second period when Yaya Toure converted from the penalty spot following the dismissal of Danny Rose for a foul on Edin Dzeko inside the area.

Dzeko made it 3-0, Etienne Capoue pulled one back for us with his first Spurs goal, before Stevan Jovetic and Vincent Kompany completed a 5-1 win for the visitors.

Spurs: Lloris, Walker, Dawson, Chiriches, Rose, Lennon, Dembele (Capoue 45), Bentaleb, Sigurdsson (Naughton 55), Eriksen (Holtby 84), Adebayor. Substitutes (not used): Friedel, Chadli, Defoe, Soldado.
