Spurs 1-3 Sunderland - no-one likes losing - Brad

Brad Friedel summed up the mood of the squad after our defeat against Sunderland in the Barclays Asia Trophy by insisting: “No-one likes losing.”
Gylfi Sigurdsson handed us the lead in the first half of Wednesday's tournament opener but the Black Cats hit back with goals from Cabral, Wes Brown and Mikael Karlsson to run out 3-1 winners.
The game was reduced to 40-minutes each way after torrential rain at Hong Kong Stadium.
Manchester City beat South China FC 1-0 in the second game so we’ll now face our club partners on Saturday at 6pm local time, 11am UK.
“You are never happy to be on a wrong side of a result but getting minutes under the belt in pre-season is always a positive,” reflected Brad, who was outstanding in the second half.
“No-one likes losing, but the thing about losing in pre-season is that it’s not the end of the world.
“You still come back to the changing room and see lots of unhappy faces but that’s how we are, we’re all competitors, we all want to win, but it’s pre-season and we have another game to think about on Saturday.”
