Spurs 1-2 Chelsea - Mauricio's reaction

It was mixed emotions for Mauricio Pochettino after our 2-1 defeat against Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.
Few could argue we deserved some reward after dominating for long periods at Wembley, racking up 18 shots to Chelsea’s nine and 67.5% possession.
However, Marcos Alonso found the top corner from a 25-yard free-kick on 24 minutes to hand Chelsea the lead against the run of play in the first half and after we’d finally scored a deserved equaliser on 82 minutes - substitute Michy Batshuay heading Christian Eriksen’s free-kick into his own net - Alonso struck again with two minutes left.
“I’m very disappointed but at the same time, happy, because the performance was good,” said Mauricio.
“Our fans were fantastic as always and I’m disappointed for them, disappointed for our team. I think we deserved more and played much better than Chelsea and that’s why we’re disappointed but happy, because if we play that way, we will win a lot more games.
“Chelsea were clinical, they scored in the key moments and for us, the chances we created we found impossible to score. That is the key of the game.”
It was put to Mauricio that questions over our results at Wembley were again inevitable. “We can’t stop that,” he said. “What more can we do?
“It was a fantastic performance and we feel comfortable but we can only change that perception in the future by winning games.”
