Christian Eriksen and Roberto Soldado went close for us in the first half, while the visitors nearly snatched the lead 12 minutes from time when a corner fell kindly to substitute Jason Puncheon and he smashed a shot against the crossbar with Vertonghen clearing the danger.

Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris then pulled off a fantastic diving save to keep out a shot from Yannick Bolasie as the spoils were shared.
