Spase looking to settle

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Spase Dilevski is hoping to impress and settle at Spurs after already clocking up the miles in his short career.

The Australian youth international arrived at the club last week via the Olympics in Athens after spells at PSV in Holland and RW Essen in Germany.

The midfielder's international CV already makes impressive reading. Spase, 19, has played in the U17s World Cup, was two years under the age limit when he represented Australia in the U20s World Championship and was the youngest member

Now he's hoping to do the same at club level. "It's been a journey," said Spase on his second day at Spurs Lodge.

"I went to PSV when I was 16 and I was there for two years and then they loaned me out last season to a Third Division team in Germany, RW Essen.

"That was a good experience, playing with seniors and first team football. That was the good thing about it. They were very professional and every game had about 15,000 and we got promoted. I went back to PSV and then this move happened.

"It's massive. Tottenham is a huge club, everyone has heard of it and it holds so much respect. It's amazing to be here."

Spase wants to make an impact as soon as possible starting with the reserves.

"I'm aiming to come in and show what I can do," he said. "I just want to show myself in reserve games, hopefully get to train with the first team and go from there.

"That's what I'm hoping to achieve in the next few months and from there, go a little further. It will be hard but that's what I'm here for. I'm looking forward to the challenge.

"Hopefully as the months pass by I'll break into the first team squad. The Premiership is massive but I know it's a huge jump at the moment."
