Sound Offs: Is Ledley the new King? 2

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Mark Allard: The King Doesn't need a Sol! All I want to say about Ledley King is that the best thing that happened to him was Sol Campbell leaving! Now he can prove how much better he is. Not only does he have the great defensive attributes but he can also distribute the ball like a true midfielder. When could Campbell ever to that? Ledley commands the game from his central position, is very aware of all around him and remains in control. None of this head down oblivious running that Campbell used to embark on. Let's all forget about the past and look forward to a bright future with the future King of the Spurs and England teams!

Stephanie Baharie: Leds is doing a good job to make us proud. He's got a good future ahead of him and I think that he is doing just as well (if not better) than his predecessor. The rest of the team have been doing great as well. You've exceeded my expectations already this season by making it to 7th in the league table. We've had some difficult to swallow results and some excellent ones. Keep up the good work guys, I'm proud to be a Spurs fan.

Jay Vickers: Ledley definitely is one of the finest defenders around at the moment but needs a little more experience before he hits the peak of his career. With Adams and Keown now too old England could do with a young exciting centre back and I think Ledley will be unlucky to miss out on a world cup spot.

Simon Buckingham: Yes. But maybe in a couple of years when he is ready for the big time.

Steve Course: Without a doubt, Ledley should be in the England team now. I was worried how we would defend without Sol but I needn't have worried, Sol Campbell did Tottenham and England a favour goin to Arsenal, as Sven has surely now noticed that Ledley, Deano and John terry should be ahead of any other centre backs, Ledley is the best of the three.

Daniel Mendez: Ledley King is all there, his got pace, strengh and composure. Lets just hope Tony Gardner, Gary Doherty and Alton Thelwell can follow suit.

Chris Elgey: Ledley, has done well this season and looks like becoming a quality player for us, he reminds me of Sol but with a bit more control when hes on the ball. In my opinion he is the best of the Premiership's young defenders and if he keeps performing like he is now he can only improve and im sure he can impress Sven.

Jiant Stalward: Ledley is brilliant. I have only once seen him have a bad game: the 5-3 United game, but I've seen many matches where he hasn't put a foot wrong. But whilst Ledley is great, people often forget that the players around him are pretty fantastic too: Sully, Deano and Doc have proved themselves time and time again; Perry has definitely shown his worth over the last few games, and Bunje (from what I've seen of him so far), is my favourite Spurs player - very reliable and decent going forward too!
