Sons of praise

Heung-Min Son has made quite an impact in his first month at Spurs.
Snapped up from Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, 'Sonny' marked his debut by helping us to our first win of the season at Sunderland, then scored twice on his home debut in the Europa League against Qarabag before firing home the winner against Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.
His performances on the pitch speak for themselves but off the pitch, Sonny's bubbly personality has proved contagious, demonstrated by him bringing in Korean food for players and staff to taste at the Training Centre.
"He is a great guy who has settled in very well," said Jan Vertonghen. "He’s a great lad. He’s very open and extrovert which we didn’t expect!
"He has settled in very quickly and I’m so happy for him because he works so hard and he’s a great guy to have in the squad."
Christian Eriksen added: "He’s settled straight into the group and he’s a real character, so he’s in the right place! There is a good group of players around him, so hopefully he will shine for us this season."
"He's a great player and a great guy as well," said Harry Kane. "He wanted us all to taste the Korean food. It was good team bonding and everyone enjoyed it. That shows his character."
Sonny and Hugo Lloris were the heroes of Sunday's win against Palace with Sonny striking just minutes after Hugo produced one of the saves of the season to deny Bakary Sako and keep the scoreline goalless.
Skipper Hugo has been impressed with what he's seen on the pitch so far. "Sonny is always available," he said. "He has a lot of movement, he’s clever in his positioning and has a change of pace. He brings something else to the team and that’s great."
