Sonny thrilled with Spurs bow

Heung-Min Son said it was an “amazing” feeling to run out in the Premier League for the first time on Sunday.
The South Korea international, signed last month, was handed his Spurs debut by Mauricio Pochettino in our 1-0 win over Sunderland – the 23-year-old named in the starting line-up at the Stadium of Light.
Going on to complete just over an hour before being replaced by Andros Townsend, he was naturally thrilled to play his first match in a Spurs shirt – but insisted he’s got plenty more to give.
“It was amazing for me to make my debut – it’s a dream for me to play in the Premier League,” Sonny said.
“I know I can play better, but this is only my first game. Now I want more. I just need a bit of time to settle in with the team.”
Ryan Mason was our match winner on the day, finishing off a fine passing move in the 82nd minute to give us all three points.
Understandably, the result meant the day was extra-special for our newest recruit.
“I’m really happy we’ve got our first win,” Sonny added. “The players were very good, but we're looking to play much better, which we’ll see over the next few weeks.”
