Sonny on Blues draw
04 December 2015|Tottenham Hotspur
Heung-Min Son felt we were unfortunate not to take all three points against Chelsea.
Sunday’s clash with the Blues at White Hart Lane ended goalless as both sides struggled to carve out clear-cut chances.
Sonny had arguably our best opportunity of the game in the first half when he met Harry Kane’s cross in front of goal, but Chelsea stopper Asmir Begovic was able the keep his header out.
Reflecting on the contest, the 23-year-old admitted it was a difficult afternoon for us but remained optimistic that we’ll see an improved performance in our forthcoming matches.
“It was a difficult game,” he said. “It was very quick. We were a little bit unlucky as we could have won the game.
“We had a couple of opportunities, I had a couple of big chances but the keeper saved well.
“We gave everything to get the victory but we weren’t at 100 per cent – this is football.
“We can do more and hopefully we will get a win at West Bromwich Albion at the weekend.”
