Social Spurs - Steffen special!

Welcome to 'Social Spurs' - a new feature where we'll take a selection of views from our fans' debate, conversation and opinion on our social media platforms - @SpursOfficial on Twitter and Facebook - and run them here on

Earlier on Friday, we asked for questions from our followers on @SpursOfficial for Steffen Freund, who spoke to us ahead of Sunday's FA Cup tie at Leeds.

As always, the response was incredible and although we've only selected three here, as there were so many, we'll look to sit down with Steffen next week to answer a few more.

In the meantime...

What's most impressed you from the players since you've come in? From ‏@AviGolan25

Steffen: "The skill and the quality on the ball of every player is fantastic. Every session and every game is different class."

Describe what it feels like when we score and you go mad on the touchline. From ‏@Nevill_H

Steffen: "It's special for me. That's about my character, my emotion. We work hard every day - the players, the coaching staff, everyone - and that's moment we work for. Every goal is so important for the club and for me, because it's so enjoyable to watch the team perform well on the pitch. The perfect example is the last-minute goal against Manchester United, the best team in England. We deserved that draw."

What was your most favourite moment wearing a Tottenham kit? From ‏@JoshuaDenman

Steffen: "That's easy. When I signed for Spurs, I knew we were in the semi-final of the League Cup and close to Wembley. We played against Leicester and beat them in the last minute. I won the Champions League, the German title twice, the Euros with Germany. To win silverware is special."

You can watch a video of Steffen answering these three questions now on our official YouTube channel...

Look out for our next instalment of 'Social Spurs' next week.
