So far so good for Brown

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Michael Brown has been impressed with what he has seen from his new teammates in the last three games.

The midfield recruit from Sheffield United officially became a Spurs player on January 1 and, since the turn of the year, the team have achieved a 100 per cent record so far and have climbed from the bottom three to 13th in the Premiership table.

However, with the league panning out the way it is, Michael warns against false security and knows that the good start to the year must be built on with a positive outcome against Liverpool at the weekend - a game he is eligible for after serving a suspension upon arrival at the club.

"It is a different picture but, with two losses, you are back down there," he pointed out. "So you don't get carried away, take each game as it comes and the next game is Liverpool.

"I think in the two home games the boys played very well and it was a hard, scrappy game at Leeds. We got the three points that were needed. It wasn't a great game, but the boys got exactly what they went for."

Michael reports that he is settling well in his new environment and that the wait to play due to suspension might work in his favour.

"It's going well for me - I'm finding my feet, getting to know the boys and now I can get training properly.

"I think the delay gives you chance to settle in, do the training and get a bit sharper before possibly being thrown in," he reasoned, before adding his house-hunting is in full swing.

"Every afternoon I have been searching all over the place and I am living in a hotel at the moment. Hopefully I can find somewhere soon because it is a bit of a nightmare really, you come in and watch telly on the bed, sleep and eat.

"People can come and stay with you when you have got a house or pop round. When you've got a place you can just get on with things as normal."
