Sir Bobby's Online Auction underway
19 November 2015|Tottenham Hotspur
The Club has joined forces with some of the biggest names in world football to support an online charity auction in memory of former England manager Sir Bobby Robson.
We have donated a money-can’t-buy experience for two people to visit our state-of-the-art training centre and watch the first team go through their paces before meeting some of the players and Mauricio Pochettino.
This will be followed by lunch with our legendary former captain Ledley King and on top of all that, a Spurs Opus, the limited edition 800-page celebration of our 125-year anniversary.
Bidding on the Sir Bobby’s Online Auction began on Saturday and runs until the evening of Sunday, November 29 with more than 140 incredible money-can’t-buy items from the world of sport, celebrity and lifestyle all in the the memory of Sir Bobby, who played for Fulham and West Brom before managing Ipswich Town, England, PSV, Porto, Barcelona and finally, Newcastle United. He sadly passed away after a battle against cancer in 2009.
Bid for lunch with Ledley!
The money raised from the annual auction has directly helped the fight against cancer, most notably by the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation which the football legend set up in 2008 to support cancer projects and international research into the disease.
Other beneficiaries from this year are the In The Game – League Manager’s Assocaition Charity, the GeeWizz charitable foundation and West Suffolk Hospital Charity.
