Simon's the Maine man
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Glenn Hoddle described Simon Davies as a 'great footballer' who is 'learning more and more' after another super show from his star pupil at Maine Road.
The midfielder was certainly the Maine man in the 3-2 victory against City on Monday night, his probing runs, intelligent play and energy a key to our revival from 1-0 down to 3-1 up in the second half.

Simon also added another goal to his tally and after an understandably low spell following his sending off at Highbury last month, the Welsh prodigy appears to be back on song.
Glenn beamed: "Simon's a great footballer and he's learning more and more.
"We pushed him out wider after the substitution and he takes it all on board, understands the shape we're playing, what his disciplines are and then he has the freedom to get his forward play going. He popped up at the back post for us at City."
Glenn certainly has a wealth of talent to select from in midfield and has reaped the benefit of being able to switch the likes of Simon, Gus Poyet, Steffen Freund and, until his recent injury, Jamie Redknapp around.
Asked if Simon was back to his best after that Highbury low, Glenn added: "Simon had a couple of big international games on top of a run of games where he was right at the top of his form.
"He came out of one game for tactical reasons and another to freshen things up.
"We had that opportunity with Gus as well. He played exceptionally well against Arsenal but I made a big decision to freshen it up this time and he came up to contribute from the bench again."
