A Christian Eriksen double fired us into the Capital One Cup final as we claimed a 3-2 aggregate semi-final win over Sheffield United on Wednesday night.

Leading 1-0 from last week’s first leg, we went in front in the return at Bramall Lane through a spectacular free-kick from the right boot of the Danish international.

The whole complexion of the tie changed 10 minutes from time, however, as a quick-fire brace from Che Adams brought the Blades back on level terms.

With the home side on a roll, they sought a winner – but it was Christian who ultimately had the final say as he latched onto Harry Kane’s through ball and calmly rolled the ball into the net, making it 2-2 on the night and 3-2 on aggregate.
