Sharp-shooter Saha sets sights on Chelsea

Louis Saha fired home a record-breaking FA Cup Final goal at Wembley - and he’s delighted to be back on the final trail at the famous stadium.

The striker scored the fastest-ever goal in an FA Cup Final when he struck after just 25 seconds of the 2009 final for Everton against Chelsea.

However, the Blues hit back to win the final 2-1 with goals from Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard.

Now Louis faces Chelsea again at Wembley as we line-up against our London rivals in Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final.

“I’m delighted to be back at Wembley,” said Louis, who rubber-stamped our date at the national stadium with a fantastic goal to complete the 3-1 quarter-final win against Bolton.

“It will be a tough game but I’m confident that we have enough quality in the side to win.”

Louis insisted the squad was in the right frame of mind to bounce back after Monday’s loss against Norwich.

“It’s the life of a footballer and a football team,” he explained. “You have to accept the difficult moments. The main thing is how you react. I think the belief and quality is still there and we will prove it this weekend.

“It’s a matter of showing character, how you react and showing the desire to change things around.”
