Sandro quickly turned his attention to Chelsea after Tuesday's Capital One Cup win at Villa.
The all-action midfielder impressed in his third start of the campaign and his first alongside fellow Brazilian international Paulinho in the 4-0 win.
We return to Premier League action in an eagerly-awaited clash against the Blues at the Lane in Saturday’s early kick-off (12.45pm) with Sandro determined to put right the corresponding fixture last term, when Chelsea ran out 4-2 winners.
“Chelsea is a great game and everyone is looking forward to it,” said Sandro.
“Last season we lost at home and this season we're determined to win. We have to play like we played at Villa. Let’s try and take this big win.”
As for Paulinho, Sandro expressed his delight at his compatriot’s performance at Villa - including another goal, his second in as many games after hitting the late winner at Cardiff on Sunday.
“It was my first time to play with Paulinho and he’s amazing,” he added. “He’s on fire at the moment! I’m so glad for him and everyone enjoyed this moment.”
