Ryan's praise for Rose

Ryan Mason saluted Danny Rose for the way he converted his fourth goal of the season in Saturday’s win over Hull City.
Leading through Nacer Chadli’s strike shortly after the break, we completed a 2-0 victory at White Hart Lane when Ryan clipped the ball over the Tigers’ line of defence and left-back Danny watched it over his shoulder before finding the top corner with a right-footed volley.
That took the latter’s tally to three Premier League goals and one in the FA Cup for the season, with midfielder Ryan full of praise for the energetic full-back.
“It was a good move for the second goal,” he said. “Danny’s been fantastic this season and the way he finished it off was brilliant.
“It’s obviously pleasing to get the assist as well. I’ve been looking to improve my record of goals and assists and hopefully next season that can continue.
“We knew it was going to be difficult against Hull, they were fighting for their lives, but we got the first goal, then the second pretty quickly and we saw the game out after that.
“It’s nice to get a clean sheet and it’s important that we go to Everton on the last day with confidence. We’ll give it a real good go, look to put in a good performance and win the game.”
