Robbo's rallying call
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Paul Robinson insists we have to forget our Carling Cup disappointments and focus back on our quest for Barclays Premiership points at Blackburn Rovers.
We suffered the heartbreak of a penalty shoot-out exit in the quarter-final of the competition for the second successive season when Liverpool held their nerve from the spot on Wednesday.
Now's it back to league action and a 5.15pm kick-off at Ewood Park against a Rovers side slowly improving under new boss Mark Hughes.
Goalkeeper Robbo led the rallying call before the trip north. "We have to forget Liverpool now," he stated. "It's in the past and there is nothing we can do about it.
"Everyone is disappointed with the performance but it's gone and we have to move on.
"What we have to remember is the Middlesbrough game, our last game in the league and try to pick up more points at Blackburn on Saturday."
Rovers are unbeaten in five league games and comfortably beat Fulham at Craven Cottage last weekend.
"They didn't start the season particularly well but seem to have picked up some good results in recent weeks," added Robbo.
"They are in a bit of form but a club like Tottenham should go there and get a result and we'll be disappointed if we don't. We'll take a lot of supporters as we always do and we all intend to give them something to travel back down the M1 or M6 to be happy with."
