Robbo targets points haul

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Paul Robinson maintains that victories over Charlton and Manchester City will make it a good week for the Club after the disappointment of our FA Cup exit.

The goalkeeper insists it will not prove difficult to shake off any Cup hang-over due to the knowledge that the team played very well up at Newcastle and deserved to take more from, if not win, the game.

We're back in Barclays Premiership action at the Valley tonight and the England No.1 rightly points another run similar to the one built up over December and January would see us pushing up into the higher reaches of the table.

"If we go on an unbeaten run again we will be right up there," said Paul at Spurs Lodge. "A win against Charlton on Wednesday and another on Saturday over Manchester City would turn a disappointing week into a good week. We could go into the international break sitting in sixth and it would be a good way to end the week.

"I don't think it will be hard to shake off the Newcastle hurt because we are not disappointed with the performance apart from the opening spell.

"We gave it everything and played as well as we have done all season for the majority of the game. We are upset with the result, but we can take a lot of heart from the performance."

We go into tonight's game a point behind Charlton, with the fixture taking both teams level on games with the teams above. Liverpool play their game in hand at home to Blackburn.

"They are the team above us and this is our game in hand on nearly everyone else," added Paul. "If we win this it will take us two points above Charlton and right up there. Hopefully we will do that and win at the weekend. We have still got a lot to play for."
