Paul Robinson went into slightly self-mocking mode after being informed of when his last clean sheet against Premiership opposition came.It was actually on the visit to Watford at the end of October but, after producing the goods against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday, Robbo joked that he thought we might be going back further in time.
"It seems like longer!" he smiled, before offering his assessment of the FA Cup 5th round tie. "It was very pleasing, a good performance, a good defensive display and a great all-round team performance.
"I'm personally pleased with the way I played and the way the defence played. As a team it couldn't have gone better for us - everybody won their own individual battles.
"It was probably one of our best performances of the season," he added, refusing to say whether his best save came from a Moritz Volz piledriver or from a Mido header.
"It was just nice to be there to make a few saves and contribute towards a great result," was all he would state on the subject.
The victory, Robbo concluded, was a result of everyone sticking together through a tricky period and coming out the other end.
"Without a doubt. The manager has taken a little bit of flak which has been pretty harsh, but you saw how much the fans are behind him, while the players are with him 150 per cent - or as much as you can be.
"We went out there and put on a performance."
