Robbo keeps it clean
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Our 'goals against' column is making pleasant reading for Paul Robinson at the moment after another shut-out against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The capture from Leeds has conceded just two goals so far this season and recorded his fourth clean sheet against the Blues, where his reflexes once again proved in very good order.
"I'm very pleased with the clean sheet and it was a very pleasing performance," he reasoned after the encounter. "We were well aware of the record we have here and, under the circumstances with the team Chelsea have, a draw is a great result."
That may be so, but the England goalkeeper, bar about three smart saves, was not exactly overworked on the day.
"They had a lot of the ball and it seemed to be coming our way quite a bit, but the defence stood strong again and a clean sheet is a great achievement here."
So is it the goalkeeper organising the resolute defensive displays of this season?
"I'd like to think so! No, we're all in it together and I help them as much as I can from behind.
"I think we've shown that we are growing in confidence, we have come here and got our fourth clean sheet of the season. We could have won it, Cech made a great save from Robbie.
"We are not getting battered in games like these. You come to a place like Chelsea and you are not going to have the ball as much as you'd like, but we had our chances as well."
Save of the day though was a late scare that saw Frank Lampard direct a free-kick through a crowd of bodies and Paul managed to claw the ball away when it appeared to be on its way into the net.
"That is a horrible free-kick and you see a lot of teams using that now in the Premiership, whipping a ball across towards the goal. Gudjohnsen came across right in front of me, missed it, and I had a split second to get a hand on it."
