Robbie has the last laugh
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Robbie Keane admits the stick dished out by West Brom fans helped spur him on to his match-winning double at the Hawthorns.
The Irish star was booed throughout because he used to play for Albion's huge Black Country rivals Wolves.
But he let his feet do the talking with the first and third goals in our 3-2 Premiership victory.
It was the same story against the Baggies at the Lane in December - Robbie on target again in our 3-1 win.
"I always get a bit of stick when I come here and and it encourages you to do better," he said afterwards. "You want to score if the fans are giving you a bit of stick but it's all meant in good fun."
Robbie's goals were a delight - the first a one-two with Teddy Sheringham, the second a volley arrowed into the bottom corner to win it with four minutes left.
Boss Glenn Hoddle described the first goal as 'classic Tottenham'.
"Myself and Teddy clicked well as you could see with the first goal," added Robbie. "I've said all along that I've enjoyed playing with Teddy and he's a player you can learn a lot off."
