Revenge in the air

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Glenn Hoddle is well aware that revenge will be in the air when we step out at Bolton's Reebok Stadium on Saturday.

We've beaten the Trotters three times out of three so far this season, all at the Lane, including comprehensive 6-0 and 4-0 cup victories.

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has already suggested to the club's website this week that he has 'a few scored to settle'.

Speaking at Spurs Lodge this afternoon, Glenn pointed out: "There are a couple of reasons why it will be a difficult game for us.

"One, they will look at it and say it's a home match and three more points will secure their Premiership survival, so we're a bit unfortunate to go there with that in mind.

"The other thing is that if you've beaten a side three times in a season they will want revenge, there is no doubt about that.

"In front of their own fans as well, that will give them an extra incentive. It will be a similar battle to the game at Middlesbrough, which I thought we deserved to win."

Bolton go into the game in pretty good form with three wins out of four.

Their recent turn-around in fortunes has verymuch been credited to the arrival of French World Cup star Youri Djorkaeff on a free from Kaiserslautern and loan striker Fredi Bobic from Borussia Dortmund.

They have scred seven goals between them in Bolton's last four games.

Glenn added: "They've been very good together and had a massive input into them getting enough points on the board to survive. And I think they will survive, whether or not we beat them.

"Djorkaeff is a very, very good player a player I've always admired. He's great player, great experience and now's he settled into the Premiership he's starting to score as well."
