Reto's mixed feelings
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Reto Ziegler found little consolation in being involved in our stirring second half comeback against Charlton.
On at half-time, Reto actually saw us go from 2-0 to 3-0 down within four minutes of his arrival.
But he played a huge part in the incident that changed the game - battling for possession after Dean Kiely spilled a cross and eventually seeing his goalbound effort handled off the line by Shaun Bartlett.
Charlton's two-goal hero Bartlett was sent off, Robbie Keane scored the penalty and it was suddenly game on at 3-1 with Charlton down to 10 men.
Jermain Defoe grabbed a second but we couldn't find an equaliser.
Reto saw a lot of the ball in that frantic last 20 minutes and curler another half-chance straight at Kiely this time with five minutes left.
"It is always very difficult when you lose a game," said the Swiss youngster. "I tried my best and it went okay for me because I had the shot for the penalty and another shot with my right foot, not as good, but I'm not happy because we've lost in front of our fans.
"To be 3-0 down was very bad and it's not normal at home. That made it very difficult. We left ourselves with too much to do.
"I suppose at least we have showed that we can score and we came back well and we have to take that into our next games."
