We have agreed in principle to the transfer of Reto Ziegler to Sampdoria on a permanent basis.The Swiss international made 15 appearances and scored one goal following his loan move to the Serie A side in January.
Reto joined us in the summer of 2004 from Grasshopper, recording 35 First Team appearances in a Spurs shirt - netting one goal in the memorable 5-2 win over Everton on New Years Day in 2005 - and also enjoyed loan spells with Hamburg and Wigan over the course of his second season with the Club.
