Reto playing for place
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Reto Ziegler knows he's playing for his place every time he steps out for training or for a match at the moment.
The left-sided Swiss youngster has grabbed his chance with injuries to Thimothee Atouba and Erik Edman to start the last two games against Bolton and Fulham.
But he knows with both injured players on the road to recovery that he has to impress the men that matter.
"At the moment I'm in the squad but no-one can play every game all season," said the 18-year-old.
"We have other players who can play down the left side and I have to take my chance and do my best. That's that's normal in football.
"You have to be good in training and let the coach know every day that you must play and that's what I want to do.
"I think I have a good possibility to be in the squad again this weekend because Thimothee and Erik are still injured. I don't know if I'll begin but I want to play."
Meanwhile, Reto reports some surprise from back home in Switzerland at how quickly he's broken into the Premiership.
"It was important to make my debut early," added the 18-year-old who did just that last month at Everton. "A lot of people in my country were surprised it was so early but I wasn't surprised because I played early for Grasshoppers back home in Switzerland.
"It's a dream to play here in the Premier League and I want to progress and get better and better."
