Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Chris Hughton’s reserve team have answered the questions he’s asked of them so far.
Big questions were asked after the 5-0 drubbing at Charlton Athletic and his youthful-looking outfit responded with two convincing wins.
It was the same situation going into Tuesday night’s FA Premier Reserve League encounter against Ipswich Town at St Albans after a 3-0 defeat at Derby County last week.
Once again the reaction was positive as second half goals from Willem Korsten and Ian Hillier sealed a deserved 2-0 victory. In fairness Spurs dominated but for a spell of Town pressure in the second half and there could have been few complaints from the visitors if the scoreline had been anything up to 5-0.
Boss Chris said: "It was quite a difficult pitch, fairly bobbly, but the application was very good which is all I could have asked for.
"We probably could have done ourselves a favour by scoring a little earlier in the game which would have taken the pressure off and perhaps we would have gone on and won the game a little more comfortably.
"But I couldn’t ask for any more. There were some good performances and again, we bounced back from a poor performance last week.
"What pleased me most was that we restricted them to minimal chances. I thought we could have been a little more productive in the final third, particularly as we played with three up front, but it was a good all round, hard-working performance."
Now all Chris needs — like the first team — is that elusive first away win in the league. Next port of call is Nottingham Forest’s City Ground next Tuesday.
"We’re a little like the first team I suppose," added Chris. "Forest were very good last season when we played there so we owe them one from then. It will be a very good surface and a nice place to go and get that win."
