Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Clive Allen admitted he was disappointed the reserves couldn't close out a win at Watford on Wednesday night.

In a tight game in tricky, wet, conditions, Jamie Redknapp fired us a ahead from the penalty spot in the second half only for the home side, who created little in terms of clear-cut chances, to grab a draw via an indirect free-kick in the box.

Keeper Rob Burch picked up a back pass, the initial free-kick from about 10 yards was blocked on the line only for Watford's Dominic Blizzard to crash home the rebound.

"I think right from the start we knew it would be difficult," said Clive. "Conditions were tricky and we started slowly.

"I was disappointed with the way the game unfolded.

"It was much better in the second half, we got ourselves in front but sometimes you need to kill the game off and we got undone by a set-piece.

"It looked like with how the game was going that set-pieces would be important and we paid the price for not picking up. So lessons to be learnt. If you have to win the game 1-0, so be it."

Nevertheless, there was good news as Christian Ziege, Jamie Redknapp and Darren Anderton - his first match back after injury - all came through unscathed.

Clive added: "It was always the plan just to play Christian for 45 minutes.

"Darren needed a game, came through unscathed and showed his quality on the ball and with Jamie as well, we're trying to ease them back in. That was a difficult game and a good work out for them."
