Report: Orient 0-2 Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Christian Ziege watched from the bench we made it three wins out of three in pre-season at Brisbane Road on Thursday night.

The German international looked on as goals from Simon Davies and Sergei Rebrov wrapped up a 2-0 success in Steve Castle's Testimonial against Leyton Orient.

Rebrov and Gary Doherty made their first appearances in pre-season as boss Glenn Hoddle stepped up his preparations - Steve Carr, Luke Young, Oyvind Leonhardsen and Steffen Iversen joined Carr and Doherty in playing the full 90 minutes.

The first half was somewhat scrappy as we failed to turn possession into clear-cut chances.

Summer recruit Goran Bunjevcevic again impressed with his willingness to come out from defence and pick a pass and was involved in creating our best opportunity as Davies smashed a volley straight at Ashley Bayes in the O's goal.

Iversen and Doherty were inches away from crosses and Tim Sherwood found Iversen in the way of a rasper that looked goal bound.

The breakthrough came just after the hour when Leonhardsen redirected a poor defensive clearance to Iversen, he helped it into the path of Davies and the young Welsh star slotted the ball into the bottom corner.

Ten minutes later and it was 2-0 thanks to a piece of Rebrov magic. He flicked the ball to Iversen, the Norwegian lobbed a return pass and Rebrov, with his back to goal, lobbed the bouncing ball over Scott Barrett with the outside of his foot.
