Reid's perfect 10
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Andy Reid will cap 10 days he'll never forget with another appearance for the Republic of Ireland tonight.
Boss Brian Kerr has confirmed Andy will start the friendly against Portugal in Dublin alongside his new Spurs team-mate Robbie Keane and, in an attacking formation, Damien Duff and Clinton Morrison.
Kerr said: "When Damien, Andy and Robbie are in the same side, we have an exciting lot."
It's been an exciting, unforgettable 10 days for Andy. It all started with his deadline day move to us from Forest, his debut against Portsmouth on Saturday when he set up Robbie's goal and then being named Young Player of the Year at the Eircom/FAI Awards on Sunday.
"Things have gone quite well and I can't have too many complaints," said Andy after his debut.
"I know there are things I can do better, things I can improve on but I'm learning all the time and for a first game I was delighted.
"The team had three defeats on the bounce in the league before this and I know everyone was disappointed with that but we're back to winning ways and hopefully we can continue it.
"The fans were fantastic, I got a great reception and I hope I can repay them in the games to come.
"I've now got Portugal in Dublin with Ireland and it will be a great game to be involved with. It would be nice to get another cap.
"It's been a fantastic week and I can't have any complaints. Everyone at the club has been brilliant and to get a win and another cap would just cap it off."
While Mido grabbed the headlines for his two-goal debut, Head Coach Martin Jol was quick to praise Andy as well after his debut.
Martin said: "He set up Robbie Keane's goal, he did well in his first game but everyone knows he's a terrific player who gives us width on the left side and he deserves some compliments as well."
