Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Claudio Ranieri was delighted with his side for gaining sweet revenge over Spurs for January's 5-1 mauling.
He reasoned that it was 'impossible' for Chelsea to win on that glorious night, but is now relishing an FA Cup semi-final following the 4-0 win for his side on Sunday.
"I am very happy because Chelsea played well and won very well," said Ranieri. "It was very important for us after the 5-1, we wanted to win for a little romance in the sport, but more to get through to the semi-final.
"I think the last time for Tottenham everything was good, every touch was fantastic, every shot was a goal. In that match Chelsea played well and concentrated but couldn't score - just Forsell near the end.
"I don't know how many times I watched the video of the 5-1. I repeat, in that match everything was good for Tottenham - it was impossible to win the last game."
Ranieri singled out the performances of Emmanuel Petit and Frank Lampard for particular praise.
"Petit and Lampard played very well in the midfield because they were always playing against three. Poyet, Sherwood, Anderton and, sometimes, Sheringham - they had to work very, very hard.
"It was a physical battle, but we managed to show some quality on a not so good pitch."
Not surprisingly, Ranieri did not agree with the late sending-off of Graeme Le Saux, saying that a number of players could have followed.
"I think that the match was very, very hard from the start to the end. If the red card was right, a lot of players should have gone before Le Saux."
