Mauricio Pochettino prepares for our fourth London derby in six matches at QPR stating: “This is an important three points to play for.”
It’s our fourth game in 10 days and we travel to Loftus Road sitting seventh the Premier League after beating Swansea 3-2 at the Lane on Wednesday night.
QPR pushed Arsenal all the way in midweek and have a familiar face in charge now - Chris Ramsey, our former assistant manager and professional phase coach - but they are in the bottom three and struggling for form with seven losses in the last 10 in the Premier League.
It’s the only Premier League fixture this weekend as the FA Cup returns and Mauricio said: “It’s a very important game, another important three points to play for.
“We have the opportunity to keep going and to try to push up the table but at the same moment, we expect a tough game at QPR.
“QPR are a strong team and now with Chris Ramsey, very solid, and expectation and motivation is always different when teams change a manager.
“We have 11 games to go and it’s important to finish the season in a strong way.
“This is when you try to play for your final place, you try to play for your objectives and with that in mind, it’s important to earn the three points at QPR.”
