Pre-season is officially under way!
03 July 2017|Tottenham Hotspur
An initial group of players reported back to Hotspur Way today (Monday, July 3) for the first day of pre-season training.
With international football taking place well into June, many of our senior internationals are not due to return to the Club until later in July.
However, those who did return - including FIFA Under-20 World Cup winners Josh Onomah and Kyle Walker-Peters - were in great spirits.
Harry Winks was also spotted as he continues on the comeback trail following the ankle injury he suffered at the start of April.
As usual on the first day back, medical testing was very much to the fore with a host of drills for the players to undergo, including the usual sub-max VO2 testing which measures oxygen uptake and the reaction lights circuit.
Following some initial sessions last week, our development squad and Under-18s players returned full-time yesterday (Sunday).
