Praise for Lamela

Nacer Chadli led the praise for Erik Lamela after the Argentine's cracker against Burnley, stating: "We all know he's capable of that."

The winger opened his Premier League account in style with a beauty from 25 yards that ultimately secured maximum points against the Clarets.

Erik's goal and performance earned him Man of the Match from our fans on the Match Centre and social media and his team-mates were all delighted for him.

"It was a great goal, a curler to the second post with his left foot, it was perfect," said Nacer. "We all know he's capable of that."

Roberto Soldado said: "It was a great goal and very important for him and for the team. He is a very good player and has great qualities. He can create and score goals and now he’ll have more confidence to go on and score more goals."
