Poyet's Profiles: Part 3

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

From Les's air time to Ted being the man - goal machine Gus Poyet gives us his exclusive, personal, end-of-season profiles of his team-mates.

The final part of our three-part series is now at the sharp end with the strikers...

9: Les Ferdinand: The best way I can talk about Les is to remember the home game against Bolton. He had been out, was on the bench and the team was missing something. Les came on and after five minutes we were 2-1 up! He made the difference. He has been unlucky with injuries as well. People say I'm good in the air but Les is much better. He is stronger, jumps higher and sometimes from far away. Unbelievable.

10: Teddy Sheringham: Teddy has been the man everyone expected him to be, always clever, keeping the ball, scoring goals, very much the image of the club. He has been magnificent and you see that he can continue playing because he is such a clever footballer that age doesn't matter.

11: Sergei Rebrov: The most difficult thing for Sergei has been to play four or five games in a row. For some players, and I'm one of them, not doing that can be hard. The quality is there, you only have to look at him in training. A great finisher.

16: Steffen Iversen: He had problems with injury at the start of the season but he now showed again what he can do. If he can stay fit he gives us something different from the other strikers. That little run down the channel, just something different from Les, Teddy and Sergei.

19: Chris Armstrong: I haven't had the chance to see him really. Again, very unlucky to be out for so long.
