Poyet's a Dalmat fan
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Gus Poyet says that man of the moment Stephane Dalmat brings something 'totally different' to the team with his extravagant brand of creativity.
After missing the visit of Charlton with a back injury, the French midfielder returned to the side for the FA Cup third round visit of Crystal Palace and put on a spellbinding display - one that was more than matched next time out when Birmingham travelled to the Lane.
Stephane tormented his markers until his late withdrawal, by which time he had netted twice and chipped in with a direct assist for the final goal of the evening, scored by Robbie Keane.
"Totally different," beamed Gus, when questioned on the qualities of the on-loan star. "You can see the reaction of the supporters when he gets the ball and you can see that everybody is expecting something different from him.
"It is good and we have to keep him happy with the ball so that he can help us in the kind of game that is difficult for us."
Gus claims that he is not having any problem second guessing the intentions of Stephane when he embarks on a mazy run - just occasionally in picking the right position to take up.
"To be fair, I know him quite well and have been quite lucky with my runs. Sometimes you make the wrong run and go to the wrong area, but I have been fairly lucky and I know when he is going to pass the left back and cross and when he is going to dribble and then put the ball in.
"The only thing I've been a little bit unlucky with is getting in the right position. If we keep creating with his kind of runs and crosses then somebody will score."
