Positive point - Hugo
Hugo Lloris believes the team will take confidence from holding out for a key point in Thursday night's Europa League clash at Lazio.
The French goalkeeper was the main reason why we came away from Rome's Olympic Stadium with our goal and that point intact.
Hugo made a string of fine saves to keep Lazio at bay, most notably tipping Cristian Ledesma's 25-yarder onto the woodwork, saving twice one-on-one from Libor Kozak and then a point-blank block from Michael Ciani's header just five minutes from time.
The goalless draw - the second time it's ended that way against the Serie A giants - secured Lazio's place in the knockout stage of the competition and we'll follow into the Round of 32 if we avoid defeat in our final group game against Panathinaikos at the Lane on Thursday, December 6.
"We wanted the three points for qualification but it was a difficult game against a great team in Lazio," reflected Hugo. "They were very good, had lots of possession and it was difficult for us to find any space.
"We didn’t play that well but sometimes when you play like that it’s important not to lose, we did that, so that’s good for our confidence.
"We now have two important home games against West Ham (on Sunday) and Liverpool (next Wednesday) and we'll have to be ready for both."
